Slow and fast pace

At work

Every company I have worked for set a different pace in my world of work. Every person I have met in those organisations moved faster or slower too. I have worked for startups, multi-nationals and consultancy firms, all with their own pace. In these organisations I had a job to do and these jobs required a certain pace. Sometimes it felt great, other times it felt weird. Whatever situations I came in too, adapting to the pace was always my first choice.

Finding peace with your pace

But that pace that is required should not be your only goal. Finding peace with your own experience and pace, should be equally important. Adapting isn't always the best choice. The more I learn to work in different organisations, the better I understand in which pace I want to work. Discussing the pace before you start, is therefore always something everybody should consider. Lil Wayne feels it too... Getting out of your comfortzone helps to find your pace, and to describe it. But do not forget to accept your own pace.

I don’t think life is about a pace, living slow or fast. I think you just live, y’know what I mean?
